We love nothing more than meeting new couples and bringing to life your dream wedding band. There is something special about performing at weddings, that is unlike performing other types of live events.
The Booking Process
Once you’ve found us, lets book a 30-minute consultation via Zoom to see if we click. Alternatively, you can come and see us perform and meet us in real life at our next showcase! We are performing at the January 17th Melbourne Wedding & Bride Expo at the Melbourne Showgrounds. We’ll be there all day would love to chat with you about the specifics of your wedding. Once we’ve spoken over the phone or met at a showcase, it’s time to secure your date. Due to pent up demand, 2021 and 2022 dates are booking out quickly, especially if you’re looking for a Friday or Saturday night! A 40% deposit secures your wedding date with our band. As soon as it’s paid, we’re locked in to perform on your big day!
The Lead Up To Your Wedding – 5 Piece Wedding Band Melbourne
This is where the fun really begins. We don’t just book in clients and arrive on your wedding day. We keep in touch with you and confirm extra details as we go, in the lead up to your wedding. We’ll be sure to send you an up-to-date Song List, where you can choose your top 10- 20 favourite songs for us to play on the day. We’ll also get you to flag any songs you DONT like from our list. After that, we’ll take some song requests from you. These could be for your First Dance, a Parent/ Child dance or something for us to play during the Ceremony or during our dance sets. As a band, we don’t mind learning some song requests for you. Bonus points if we have a couple weeks to a month, to learn them! We’re also currently giving our clients a pre wedding gift of a personalised song of your choice, recorded and emailed to you, before the big day. We also create a separate band run sheet for the wedding. So we know when to play, and when to pause for your formalities.
The Big Day- 5 Piece Wedding Band Melbourne
On the day we’ll arrive an hour and a half early, before we start playing. We bring everything, including the PA speakers, extra microphones, mixer and instruments. We’ll do a sound check to make sure everything is on point before we start playing. We know the order of our songs ahead of time and are always super organised on the day.
Band Formation
In our 5 Piece Wedding Band Melbourne you’ll always get two singers, a male and Lexi Ross. Our male Lead Singer also plays electric guitar. Then you’ll have a Bass Guitarist, a dedicated Drummer and a Saxophone player! For clients tossing up between a 4-piece band or 5 piece band; just know the more players you have in a band, the bigger the sound. Also, in the world of live music, a Saxophone is considered as good as another ‘voice’. The saxophone plays key riffs and melodies that can be likened to a third voice within this band formation.
