Royal Motor Yacht Club- Live Music Acoustic Duo

We had an absolutely blast today playing at the Royal Motor Yacht Club.

We were booked for their annual Christmas Party, and played a full day of live music as a happy Acoustic Duo.

When you’re booking live music for an event, it’s important to consider how many guests will be attending and what kind of vibe you’re wanting to create on the day. Today about 60 guests all went out on a yacht, before coming back to the club for a lovely Christmas lunch. We played nice chilled tunes during this time, downstairs in the dining hall.

 

After lunch we relocated our Acoustic Duo to the upstairs to rooftop. We played mid-tempo hits from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s while people started coming upstairs. As the afternoon wore on, we took the tempo up a notch. Making sure we played songs that people can dance too! No matter what genre of music you like, we have something for everyone. We love rock, country, R&B, pop, and soul music!

We played many more, including some well-known Christmas songs. It’s hard to remember them all! We would highly recommend the Royal Victoria Motor Yacht Club as a function venue, based in Williamstown, they have spectacular views overlooking the water! At the end of the night, they ended up booking us to stay for an extra half an hour which was fun. Great crowd and great little gig for us to do post Melbourne lockdown!
